What we're about

Canada's Technology Triangle .NET User Group (CTTDNUG) is a community group for people who are interested in learning about the latest in technology, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies, including .NET, Azure, and Xamarin.

Formed in 2001, CTTDNUG is based in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. We provide fun, informative sessions on all aspects of .NET and cross-platform development, tools, and related technologies. This group targets every skill level, from beginners to experts.

Our sessions run the 4th Wednesday of each month, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in west Kitchener.

Session locations may vary depending on meeting room availability at the local libraries.

All members are expected to adhere to the CTTDNUG Code of Conduct (https://www.meetup.com/CTTDNUG/pages/25716320/Code_of_Conduct/).

CTTDNUG Annual Membership Registration
Needs a date and time

Needs a location

In our recent survey, we mentioned that the group is struggling to garner financial sponsorship to help cover the costs of running our monthly sessions. Many of our members were in favour of paying a $25 annual membership fee to help us offset these costs. Others were in favour of a donation bucket to contribute what they can without obligation. In light of this, our approach to this season is to create a special Meetup page to allow members to sign up for an annual $25 subscription for the 2017/2018 season. For those that sign up as subscribers, you will be listed as a supporter on the CTTDNUG Meetup site, and you will be entered into a special giveaway draw to be held at our .NET meetup on Sept 27th. If you are unable to sign up as a CTTDNUG supporter, then that's ok too! Our meetups will still be free to attend and we will make a donation bucket available for those that are able to contribute on an ad-hoc basis. Again, this is optional, but any donation or member subscription will help us to continue to bring great quality sessions to the K-W area! As we are operating with a minimal annual budget, we will no longer provide pizza during our sessions unless we find a financial sponsor willing to cover the costs. We will still offer refreshments (water and light snacks) as a cost alternative measure, as long as we have the funds to do so. However, we will focus our funding towards venue costs, first and foremost. Our dedicated volunteers have been running CTTDNUG for 15 years now, and our goal is to continue to host great technical and networking events for you! We can't do this without your support. We look forward to seeing you in September. We will announce the details of September's Xamarin and .NET sessions soon!
