Join us on Wednesday, May 30th for a special dual session!

During the first half of the evening, Brandon Minnick will walk us through the world of IoT! The Internet of Things can improve our lives and there has never been a better time than now to create your own IoT projects.
Here is a sneak peek at the content for this action-packed session:

Brandon Minnick works as a Developer Advocate at Microsoft, specializing in Xamarin and Azure. He gets to work closely with the developer community and help fellow mobile app and cloud developers make 5-star apps. An avid mobile app developer, Brandon loves to code and has contributed to and published countless apps!

In the second half of the session, we will learn all about Blockchain! Blockchain is new and exciting, but its often quite difficult to get started building apps that leverage the technology. With documentation that constantly changes and several integration layers required to even stand up the most basic application, developers often find it takes months to stand up a working PoC.

How do you get started quickly and efficiently?

How do you even know Blockchain is the right solution?

Join Mahdi Alirezaie, Cloud & Blockchain Engineer, in learning about Azure Blockchain Workbench. It offers a pre-configured, deployable application in a box that lets you focus on your business flows and creating your smart contract. Azure Workbench comes complete with a web application, mobile application, and .NET SDK with Authentication built-in.

Venue: Country Hills Community Library, 1500 Block Line Road, Kitchener (adjacent to St. Mary's High School). Meeting room is at the back of the library.

Free parking is available at the library.
