What we’re about

Meetup for people already interested in or generally curious about philosophy. Each meeting would involve discussing a particular philosophical text, question or issue. No prior knowledge of philosophy required. Should be an engaging and fun way to "exercise your mind" and meet new people.

Very short list of possible texts (to give a general idea):
Plato dialogues (such as Euthyphro, Ion, Meno, The Apology etc)
Second Treatise of Government (John Locke)
Ethics of Ambiguity (Simone de Beauvoir)
Origins of Totalitarianism (Hannah Arendt) (This one is a bit long--but very relevant to current events)
Very much open to any/all suggestions!
