What is CX5?

CX5 is a cross-divisional experience focused on teamwork, the importance of creating memorable moments, and understanding how employees play a role in increasing NPS and driving revenue premium for Delta

Who will be attending CX5?

You will be attending CX5 with customer-facing employees from all other divisions. This includes Airport Customer Service, Cargo, Flight Operations, In-Flight Service, Reservation Sales and Customer Care, as well as Technical Operations – Line Maintenance. We will have employees from not only BOS, CVG, DTW, EWR, JFK and LGA, but also from our international stations across the network.

Is this mandatory for our frontline?

CX5 is a significant investment Delta is making to ensure we bring even more humanity to the air travel experience. We are counting on all employees to attend a session, and encourage them to schedule their attendance as soon as possible in order to secure a space in their desired session. If employees have not signed up to attend, their local Points of Contact will schedule their attendance. We look forward to seeing everyone at CX5.

Where is the session held?

CX5 is held in Downtown Atlanta at The Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel, located at 210 Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30303. CX5 Team members and branded signage will direct you to the designated check in desk and the event space upon arrival.

How long does the session last?

Participants will arrive the night before their CX5session. Hotel check-in is after 3:00pm and there is a reception from 5:00pm-9:00pm with food and beverages.

The next morning, breakfast is available from 8:00am-8:50am and the session will begin at 9:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm. Please allow time to travel to the airport when booking flights.

How do I book my flights?

Participants should book flights to and from CX5 as Positive Space, Company Business Travel via TravelNet. To book Positive Space Travel, review this guide or reach out to your local leader.

Do I need to book a hotel?

No, the CX5 team will book accommodations on site when participants register. Each participant will have their own hotel room, and can check in at the CX5 Registration Center using their name and ID.

How do I get from the airport to the event?

The CX5 Team will direct participants to private buses that will take them from the airport to the event space and back at designated times. You will choose the time of bus you wish to take ahead of time when you receive your "What To Know Before You Go" email approximately one week prior to the event. More details about the buses will be provided closer to the beginning of 2019 sessions.

If you plan to arrive outside of the times when buses are offered, MARTA and ride sharing services are located at the airport.

Are meals provided?

Of course! Food and beverages will be provided during an evening reception the night before your CX5 session,. The day of your session we will be offering an optional breakfast before the session beginning at 8:00 am. Lunch will also be served during the session.
