What we're about

Calling all nature lovers, this group is for anyone interested in volunteering with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) to conserve important natural areas and biological diversity in Alberta.

We host volunteer events on NCC properties all over Alberta to carry out hands-on stewardship actions. Efforts from our volunteers help to promote conservation of species and natural habitats for generations to come.

Everyone is welcome to join our community of enthusiastic volunteers! The events are a great way to meet other people and learn more about nature while making a difference on the landscape. Our events are diverse and include activities such as species inventories, plantings, fence tear-downs and invasive species removals. No experience is required, all we ask if that you bring yourself, a lunch, and come prepared for a day outdoors!

Check out our full calendar of events at ConservationVolunteers.ca. All event sign-ups are facilitated through the above link in order to collect health and waiver info. Feel free to contact us at alberta@conservationvolunteers.ca, we are happy to answer any questions!

We are always looking for new volunteers to lend a helping hand. We look forward to meeting you in the field one day soon!
