Start walking with poles.
Walking with poles tones your arms, strengthens your core, builds your stamina and increases calorie burn without making you feel like you are working any harder.
I started this group to meet people who want to get fit and keep fit whilst exploring our beautiful Fish Creek Park and surrounding neighbourhood.
So, grab your poles, a water bottle and come out for a walk. You will be glad you did.

It's time to enjoy Fish Creek park in evening. Hope you can make it :)
A full body exercise just by walking!
Walking with poles transforms your regular walk into a full-body workout.
We will mix interval walking with walking up and down the hills.
We will stay on the paved paths, but if ground conditions are good, we will wonder off the beaten paths to enjoy Fish Creek park at its fullest.
So, grab your poles, water bottle and let's go!
Ps. Good hiking boots/sneakers are recommended. Spikes in winter.
