Introduction to Unity Game Development (Using .Net, C# and Visual Studio 2017)
Have you ever thought about writing a computer game? Unity3D has been in the game business for years, and allows you to use the full power of C# to develop content. Unity’s scope is not limited to games, it’s been used for serious efforts too, including simulations, architecture and dentistry. This presentation will show you the start of a game I'm writing called v38. This is from the Unity3D project start window to a video 4 days later. The presentation is a 15-20 minutes deck, followed by the video (5 minutes), questions, and maybe some hands on demo time with the current version. Total duration 45-60 minutes. To properly prepare for this presentation, you should review the first tutorial on https://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials. You can do the tutorials on the Personal version which is free. https://store.unity.com/products/unity-personal About the Presenter: Ian has been developing software since 1980, and been playing games ever since the Atari 2600 was all the rage. He’s currently writing a space game called v38
