Photography Show 709A 11 Ave SW

This is part of the month long photography festival known as Exposure. The is showing a great fine art photographer named David Burdeny. The show is on 11 Ave which is known as the Art Design District. This is close to the downtown Safeway. Davids show is titled Sacred and Secular. For the most part we will poke around and chat and then there will be a presentation of the work at 3pm.

Unfortunately, the photographer cancelled. (I'm glad I at least caught him on the website, thanks to DSN). There were however, some other interesting items to view. We went on to another gallery (ditto), and then to Broken Whatzit for a glass of wine/snack/conversation, so it was a pleasant Saturday afternoon event, nonetheless. I find the visual enrichment beneficial, especially in the winter when everything often seems a bit muted!

The artist was not showing, but had a nice time visiting some other galleries etc. Thanks, Phil!

There was no chat at 3 p.m. I didn't see anyone with a meetup sign so I left and poked around the other galleries in the area.

show was cancelled but Phil did a good job of organizing other places to go in the area. It was my first event with the group and will attend something else in future.
