OPEN MIC--on ZOOM

Join us for an informal, friendly evening of readings from a variety of authors: poetry, essays, short fiction, excerpts of novels both published and in progress.

If you’d like to enjoy the evening as an audience member, you are more than welcome to join us! You can engage with the authors in chat, learn about the California Writers Club, and lend your support to our readers. (Be prepared to think, "I can do this! Next time, I'm reading, too!")

We will sign up readers on a first-come/first-serve basis. You can let us know when you're signing up here on Meetup or make your request at the start of the meeting, in the chat. Either way, please arrive on time if you’d like to read. If you're reading, please come prepared to read for 5-8 minutes. We'll flex the available time, depending on the number of participants. We manage time carefully to be sure that everyone who wants to read gets their chance, so keep that in mind as you select your material.

For security, registration and authorization through your connected zoom account are required.
