What we're about

This group has been set up to provide increased opportunities for cycling for people in the Cambuslang and Rutherglen area. It is supported by CamGlen Bike Town, a cycling initiative of Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust. CamGlen Bike Town Cycling Meet Up is open to anyone over the age of 18 with an interest in cycling and we hope to see you on one of our rides very soon!

Start Cycling in Rutherglen - Introduction to On-Road Cycling

We will be continuing our START CYCLING for 2022 on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings.

The Introduction to On-Road Cycling sessions are suitable for adults that have already developed bike-handling skills and are ready to build their cycle confidence and take their cycling to the next level.
These sessions will introduce essential skills required to cycle on the road and in light traffic.

The Intro to On-Road cycling is 2 hours long. You'll need your own bike that is in a roadworthy condition and we would advise you dress for the weather.
