What we’re about
Pitch and Mix is the go-to meetup to connect with the start-up / entrepreneurial community in Cambridge. Many of our members are in the high-tech and creative space as developers, contractors and freelances. Others are entrepreneurs running small businesses and start-ups. As a large and growing community we are extremely well connected with other networking groups in Cambridge and main contributors to the Creating Cambridge events.
Pitch and Mix is regular - every Thursday morning since February 2010. It is central - at The Mill Cafe`, 32 Mill Road, a friendly restaurant and café. It is accessible - 3 minutes walk from the Queen Anne Terrace car and cycle park. It is informal and friendly - you are welcome whether you want to build a go-to-market team for your new venture, or to shoot the breeze with other interesting people. And it is structured:
- • open from 8:45, to get your drink and free networking
• the opportunity for introduction round the room at 9:15 followed by pitches
• moderated discussion about business topics until 10:00
Guaranteed over by 10:00 (though you can stay as long as you like). Pay for nothing but coffee. Pitch if you like. Mix all you want.
