Due to our speaker being forced (by AWS) to drop out at very short notice, we cannot hold this meeting at the scheduled date and time. We are looking at new dates, and finding someone to step into Ric's very able shoes (what exactly is an able shoe, anyway?), but for the meantime this event is postponed. Sorry!

Welcome to our AWS re:Invent Breakdown and Christmas Bash!

Our first-time hosts are Cambridge Assessment, the organisation responsible for not just the University's three exam boards, but (as OCR) one of the boards for GCSE exams too. They're AWS users and fans, and we're delighted to be sponsored by them.

We only have one speaker and one subject for a Christmas Bash, and we're delighted to say it will be our great friend Ric Harvey, taking us through all the new announcements from AWS re:Invent 2019.

Your hosts for this meeting will be Jon Green (jetlagged, hobbling and cross-eyed after arriving from the States two days before) and Steve Wilding (fresh as a daisy, after arriving from...Letchworth Garden City).

Our Christmas bash is often our most popular meeting of the year, so don't miss it!
