Simply Dancing with our Hearts, Louise De Caux
"Simply Dancing with our Hearts is a celebration of ourselves, of who we are and what we feel at a deep level as a man or as a woman. It is an exploration of our hearts, our bodies, and our souls. We explore the connection to ourselves and our relationships with others. The simple truth is that we all need more love, more connection with both ourselves and with each other. The simplicity of dance, of moving our bodies, can open up the doorway to our hearts, to our male and female energies. When we feel who we are at a deep level we can dare to go out into the world to connect and move with others. Nothing complicated – just simply honest connection offered with love, compassion and the joy of being alive. " http:// http://www.simply-being.co.uk/ We dance most Fridays of the year. Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary. Our dance is a movement meditation practice led by trained teachers who will guide you through the session, using 5 Rhythms, Open Floor, FreedomDance and other forms of mindful movement practice. You just listen to and follow your body’s impulses to move to great music in a friendly and supportive environment - who knows what you may discover? Cambsdance has been been running for over 25 years and regularly attract 30 - 40 dancers. Find out more about us here: www.cambsdance.org.uk (http://www.cambsdance.org.uk/). We look forward to meeting you soon!

What we're about

We are Cambsdance, a community of people who love to dance, based in Cambridge, UK. We organise regular dance meditation classes including 5 Rhythms, Open Floor and Freedom Dance and are interested in other conscious movement and presence practices happening in Cambridge. Our dance is a free form of dance that anyone can do, whatever their age, shape, gender, mobility or fitness level. No prior knowledge is needed, there are no steps to learn and nothing to get right. We are a friendly group of people who love to welcome new dancers into our community. Come along and discover your own unique dance.
