Details
Dear Colleagues:
Just to confirm that we are all well prepared and looking forward to our upcoming 4th Meetup on Wednesday 22nd of April. We will use Zoom* (you will get the link when you register).
Time:
19.00-21.00pm BST
14.00-16.00pm EST
11.00-13.00pm PST
We managed to gather several distinguished speakers who will be talking 30 mins each. This will be followed by a moderated panel discussion in the end for Q&A with the speakers.
Here is the planned schedule:
7.00-7.30pm Dr Kai Kleiber (Dovetail Genomics) - Introduction to genome assembly
7.30-8.00pm Dr Daniel Zerbino (European Bioinformatics Institute) - Graph genomes
8.00-8.30pm Dr Bernardo Clavijo (Earlham Institute) - Disentangling complex genomes, one haplotype at a time
8.30-9.00pm Panel discussion moderated by Sina Beier (Wellcome Sanger Institute)
This will be an excellent opportunity to learn from colleagues from across academia, industry and the tech sector in the #Genomics area.
*Please note we have Zoom capacity for 100 colleagues per session. We will be recording so if you are not able to ‘dial-in’ we will forward the link to the recordings shortly afterwards. By joining you agree to be recorded.
