The Cambridge Lucid Dreaming group (CLD) aims at helping its members experience lucid dreams.
A lucid dream is defined as a dream in which, although being asleep, you realize you are dreaming and sometimes are able to choose the contents of the dream.
Members of the group meet Wednesdays from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Life Alive organic cafe (765 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139) in the room downstairs.
During a typical meeting, everyone is invited to share about lucid or non lucid dreams (s)he had, about a personal dream journal, readings made on the subject and techniques used to trigger lucid dreams. You can also come to know more about the subject, even if you are just curious about LD and never had any LD before.
People from every background and belief are welcome to join, although the focus of the group is the rational technique of achieving lucid dreams, and the meetup has nothing to do with any spirituality or belief. It also has no link with Life Alive organic cafe, which happens to be only the public place we meet at.
The first meetup of this group will be on March 6th. You will recognize the group because I always wear a black hat and speak with a bit of a French accent.
My name is Vic and I have been writing a dream journal for almost 5 years and achieved some lucid dreams.
I'm thrilled at the idea to meet and help each other improve our lucid dreaming rate.
This meeting will be focused on meditation. What do you do to feel calmer on a daily basis ? A meditation headband device called Muse will be introduced : it connects to the brain and allows you to track your progress thru an app.
New members will be welcome to introduce themselves and say what they expect from their lucid dreaming practice.
