Cambridge Social Media Meetup - Growing your online community

Details

If you've read any articles about the social media marketing trends you should pay attention to in 2020, you'll know that nurturing your online communities, building strong and meaningful relationships and offering a high-quality, personalised online care is at the top of many of them!

That's why we're excited to have our new Community Manager, Thana Asaad, as our speaker for this month's meetup.

Thana is a self-structured social media and digital marketing specialist. During her career, she had the chance to work with an array of industries to help them grow and strengthen communication with online communities since 2012.

Inspired by the top marketing trends of 2020, the talk will focus on community management's tips & tricks aimed to grow and nurture online communities. Thana will show us how to manage those communities effectively and efficiently.

Whether your goals are quantitative or qualitative, engagement marketing has a great impact on your marketing activities. Not only it boosts your performance, but it feeds your team with inspiration coming directly from the source, your customers.

Thana Asaad has over 7 years of experience in social media marketing, strategising digital marketing efforts, growing online communities and building insightful reports. Having spent most of her career between Beirut, Khobar, and Dubai city she had the opportunity to work with international brands such as Daniel Wellington and Unilever, and leading agencies like Merkle.

She has moved to the UK only last July and has already become an active member of the Cambridge community. She currently takes on independent projects delivering search engine optimisation SEO, campaign strategies, and content writing services.

Having worked in relatively small teams she got her hands dirty! This session will give some tested and proven tactics that would work for any size company ready to reap the benefits of worldly community management.
