Friendship. Why is it so hard to build friendships? Do you ever feel alone/isolated in the city?

What makes a good friend? What are most people looking for? What are you looking for?

Do we NEED friends? For what purpose? How can friendship go 'too far'? How can avoiding friendships be unhealthy?
