If you enjoy singing great music to a high level, from popular classics to rarely performed gems, then we are the choir for you! You will be singing alongside experienced and friendly amateurs, and will be made very welcome. There are regular solo opportunities for any budding soloists who join the choir! We are based in a lovely part of London, Primrose Hill, and are led by the prize-winning conductor and vocal coach Matthew Watts, described in the Hampstead and Highgate Express as “the Gareth Malone of Primrose Hill”! Please come along to a rehearsal and try us out for free. This term we will be singing a programme entitled A Summer in Europe, including well-known classics such as My Soul There is a Country by Parry, The Bluebird by Stanford and Finlandia by Sibelius, lovely part-songs by Schubert and Lili Boulanger’s exciting Hymn to the Sun, plus fun folksong arrangements by Ken Johnson and Holst. The concert is on Saturday 4th June at 7.30pm at St Mary’s NW3 3DJ (2.30 rehearsal), and rehearsals are on Saturday 9th April (10.30-13.45), Tuesday 19th April (19.00-21.15), Saturday 30th April (10.30-13.45), Tuesday 10th May (19.00-21.15), Saturday 21st May (10.30-16.00), Tuesday 31st May (19.00-21.15). You won’t have to make all of the rehearsals, but we hope you can make most of them. Please email for further information or see our website
