About the Session:

At Intuit, we have a business process automation platform built on Camunda providing Workflows as a Service. It started with 1 workflow and today the service supports 22+ different business workflows which includes TurboTax Live and QuickBooks.

This talk is about our journey and architecture in how we supported 22+ different Business Workflows, being Multi-Tenant and multi Swim lanes, 100% availability with Multi-Region HA-DR Availability.

Workflow Automation Service acts as an abstraction layer, hiding BPMN concepts from end-users and using Intuit Services such as Mapping BPMN to Business Domain and "Build Your Own Workflow" in dynamically generating BPMN & DMN. A lot of customizations are available for the designers, where they can choose between different adapters to Plug & Play.

About the Speaker:

Shyamalendu Tripathy (Shyam), Senior Software Engineering at Intuit.

Shyam has over 10+ years experience and have worked with Intuit for the past 2.5 years. Shyam has worked extensively on complex and scalable backend systems for both Enterprise and Consumer based applications. Currently, Shyam is a key contributor to the Workflow Automation Services at Intuit, which is responsible for scaling to multiple offerings.
