New Meetup: Off the coast and over to Vietnam. Highways to a War by Christopher J Koch

Announcing a new Meetup for Canberra Book Club!

What: Off the coast and over to Vietnam. Highways to a War by Christopher J Koch

When: Saturday, October 9,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Tilley's Devine Cafe Gallery
Cnr Brigalow & Wattle Sts Lyneham

To break with what was becoming a bit of a theme (Canberra Book Club becomes the Canberra Australian Coastal Literature Appreciation Book Club) the next meeting will be talking about Highways to a War by Christopher J Koch (of the Year of Living Dangerously fame).

A quick check of availability has turned up the following status:

  • E-books (Kindle, Kobo etc) available only in the US (a little ironic for a well known Australian author!)
  • Borders, A&R and Dymocks all have availability around the $40 mark on their website (not certain of local stocks)
  • This is a Library Reading Groups book so likely a couple of copies available in the library
E-bay has a few copies starting at around $3 and up
