R is a language for statistical programming that is widely used among data scientists. Last year Microsoft purchased Revolution Analytics, a leading R company. As a result, Microsoft recently released Visual Studio Tools for R and announced that R is going to be included in the upcoming SQL Server 2016.

In this session, we will take a look at R from an introductory point of view and see how the power of R can be used by .NET developers. Some of the highlights are:

He presented his latest research paper, Aim as a System, at the 21st Annual Deming Research Seminar in March 2015, in Washington DC. The presentation was one of the most highly attended and rated sessions at the conference and was very well received by the Deming Community
