Linum Labs will be hosting an exciting event on the 27th of February 2019 called “Creating Shared Value” at Work In Progress in Cape Town.
The aim of this event is to highlight the intersection between business, blockchain and innovation, opening up a conversation around these three industry spheres and how they create shared value.
We aim to bring together blockchain enthusiasts, developers, change-makers and thought-leaders to discuss these evolving industries and how they are set to shape our future.
We’re extremely passionate about building the local blockchain community and would like to create a platform for community members to learn more about current, and real-world, use case applications.
Join us to participate in an exciting and experimental “fishbowl” style panel discussion.
How a fishbowl panel works:
It is a form of dialogue that can be thought of as a “rotating panel discussion”, used when highlighting topics within large groups.
Six seats will be placed at the front of the auditorium, where the rest of the audience will form a half-moon shape around them. The first four panellists are “permanent” seats, with the additional two chairs being open to the audience, so that they can rotate through, adding their take on the topic at hand.
This provides a creative way to include the public/audience into a group discussion. The moderator will introduce the topic, which will then be followed by the initial participants speaking for a time. When time runs out, they leave the fishbowl and a new group from the audience enters the fishbowl. This continues until all of our speakers have spent some time in the fishbowl. Once the final group has concluded, the moderator closes the fishbowl and summarises the discussion.
This event layout is a great way to share ideas, valuable information and key insights from a variety of different perspectives from some of the industry’s leading minds.
