Not on My Watch! (Wicked Issues, Wise Actions and Agile Capacity)

We are so excited to have Steve join us for our Meet-Up on the 28th of October!

The wicked issues confronting all of us today include: climate change, pandemics, violent conflict, racism, poverty, and finding a safe place to belong (to only name a few).

Your own issues at work as agile professionals may have lower stakes, but they are also wicked. Wicked issues defy analysis and resist resolution. (Our designer friends often call them wicked problems.)

This talk is about wicked issues and shifting them. It's about systems doing not just systems thinking. This is a talk about building agile capacity with purpose, open space leadership, kinship and action.

You'll also leave with a new Wicked Retrospective to help you build agile abundance for yourself or your team.

He began this "Agile journey" almost 15 years ago by shamelessly begging for a Scrum Master job serving two teams of web application developers. Since then he’s never looked back. He is the founder and lead consultant of both Engage Results and Coaching Cocktails. Over the last decade he’s worked with research scientists creating life-saving cures and telecommunications engineers at the world’s largest companies. He’s also worked with small growing startups in various industries including telecommunications, children’s book publishing, FinTech, and web-service development. He’s been able to support many change-makers who are making an effective difference in the world.

Steve is living and working from Zurich Switzerland. He’s lucky enough to volunteer his time with the marine ambassadors at Two Oceans Aquarium on the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town South Africa, when international travel allows.
