March CASSUG Monthly Meeting

Details

Our March speaker is our own Ken Schwartz!

Topic: Temporal Tables - what are they?

A temporal table is a new type of table (as of SQL 2016) that provides correct information about stored facts at any point in time. This presentation will look at how they are created and queried, as well as how to handle data retention.

About Ken:
Ken does database stuff. He's been doing database stuff for over 15 years. A lot of that stuff has to do with optimization. And architecture. And recently, a lot of it has to do with automation via PowerShell - and he never saw that coming.
Before doing database stuff, he did other stuff.

Our meeting schedule is usually as follows:
5:30 PM Food, soft drinks, and networking
6:15 PM Chapter news and announcements
6:20 PM Lightning talk (topic changes monthly)
6:30 PM Presentation (topic changes monthly)
We usually wrap up between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM.
