What we’re about
The purpose of this group page is to match sport and sport touring motorcycle riders in the greater Washington DC area with a variety of ride events through Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Routes are chosen that employ rural back roads to two lane mountain highways with an emphasis on interesting scenery and destinations on winding roads with little to no traffic. Route length will vary from 100 to as long as 500 miles and are usually one day events. Stops will be made every 100 miles or so for fuel, a quick snack or rest or photos at scenic locations. A full meal stop will be scheduled around the midway point. Pace will depend on the road traveled and rides are open to all skill levels. Rides will be scheduled on most weekends with several days advance notice depending on weather. This is not a motorcycle club. There are no required meetings or membership dues.
