'I am not your Negro' looks at James Baldwin’s struggle to write a biographical novel about the Civil Rights Movement.
Accomplished documentary filmmaker Raoul Peck brings James Baldwin’s novel 'Remember this House' to the big screen, starring Samuel L. Jackson.
Using nothing but Baldwin’s own words, Raoul explores the difficultly which the writer faced as tried to reflect on the lives of Martin Luther King, Malcom X and Medgar Evers. His thoughts on the brutal challenges that Civil Rights Movement experienced could not seem more relevant today.
