This month is our second meetup of the year. Last month we did a workshop where we discussed and planned the outline for our Cardiff community's website which was very exciting and insightful. This month Kyle Nel will be giving a talk to help break down General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for us in terms we can all understand and we will give plenty of time for Q&A afterwards because we are sure there will be a lot of questions.
We look forward to seeing everyone there with doors opening at 6:00 and the event to kick off at 6:30.
Kyle Nel - @Kdevnel
Kyle works as a freelance developer and has a passion for knowing as much as he can about as much as he can. He has taken time to look through the new GDPR regulations that take effect on the 25th of May and will be sharing the important need to know information. His talk aims to explain how GDPR impacts you as developers, your clients, and you as someone living in a digital world. There will be plenty of time for Q & A at the end of his talk.
Our second session we will do a quick review of the workshop we did last month and will let everyone, know what the plan is going forward and how you can get involved. Then we will close shortly after.
