Remember when exercise used to be fun? With the current trend of HIIT, Crossfit and other high intensity programs, the pure joy factor is missing. Well I have a class, taught on Sundays, where you can get an awesome cardio workout and not even realize how hard you have been training. Its Hi/Lo dance aerobics. You learn choreography, starting with basic moves which are built upon. You can adjust the level of impact hi, low, or a little of both. Its the choreography element, the thinking part, that has been removed from today’s workouts, and in doing so you find yourself looking at the clock hoping the workout is over soon! It's been proven that challenging your brain during cardio activity improves brain function.

This class goes beyond cardio conditioning and strength training. We will be utilizing foam rollers, tennis balls and other equipment to free locked up tissues that keep you from moving properly causing muscle imbalances and pain. Then we will stretch, followed by super fun, low impact, cardio dance. Next we will complete functional, compound movements to increase core and overall body strength. We will cool down with muscle massage and stretching. You will leave feeling renewed!!
