We will discuss the three keys to job search success - attitude, activity and assertiveness. We will look at each area and how each helps you to keep motivated and breathe new life into your job search.

We will examine the importance of dealing with your emotions so that you can have the right attitude. We will look at valuable activities that you can spend time on to keep your job search going.

We will focus on the importance of networking as the life of your job search. Lastly, we will talk about being assertive to be noticed and make an impact. Focusing on attitude, activity and assertiveness will move you forward on your search for your next position.

About The Presenter: Amy Dinning is a Senior Learning and Talent Development Leader with extensive experience working with all organizational levels setting strategy, creating, promoting, and delivering learning, leadership and talent development solutions designed to support the organization’s business plan and goals. She possesses impactful leadership, influencing, facilitation and innovation skills essential to motivating others. Amy is passionate about creating an interactive and engaging environment that supports learning and growth. Amy is the Learning & Development Manager at ARRIS, a telecommunications equipment manufacturer, in Horsham PA.

She enjoys serving in leadership positions. Amy is the co-lead of the Association for Talent Development Leadership & Organizational Development SIG. She serves as a Board Member and Director of Programming for My Career Transitions. She is the creator and chief facilitator of a workshop she created, Jump Start Your Job Search, which is offered twice/year for the unemployed and underemployed. She also speaks to various professional associations and networking groups on a variety of topics.

About The Group: The goal of the Career Networking Group in Montgomery County is to provide a supportive environment where members can obtain ideas, direction, and support and learn skills to improve their job search and career. Come and network with other individuals who are likewise in transition to share best practices about job hunting.
