February coffee evening: what's it like being a carer in tech?

Hi everyone! This is our first meetup, we'd like to keep it pretty informal , mostly we're aiming for a coffee and a chat among ourselves. We'll suggest a few topics for discussion but it's not set in stone. If anyone would like to speak briefly on their ideas or experience as a parent or carer please message me.
So far topics we'd like to discuss include:
- Flexible, remote and part-time working: what are your experiences and how has it helped you?
- Sharing parenting: what are your experiences of taking parental leave in the workplace?
- Change: how can we encourage companies to offer better support for carers and parents?
We're open to other topics so if you have an ideas get in touch!
The cafe is child-friendly and we have a volunteer to run a drawing/reading corner 🎉. There will be some snacks provided and the cafe will be serving tea and coffee as normal.
