What we’re about

Read this to find the regular Weekly & Monthly Activities NOT posted as Meetups
PN Asheville is a community for local area, like-minded preparedness individuals and families to share information and learn to “own the skills” required to assure the ability to thrive in an increasingly uncertain world.
Public Outreach- What We Do \

PN Asheville maintains an extensive training folder with public facing information provided at no charge to the general public. We also host and moderate a public meet up group on a monthly basis to assist the general public in understanding our purpose and have access to fundamental training and preparedness skills.
We disseminate factual information we believe will assist like-minded individuals and families to move the ball forward with regard to their preparedness activities.
In a general sense this will be basic fundamental preparedness outlines, checklists and information to help the public in their basic preparedness efforts. This may include but would not be limited to training opportunities, such as seminars and other venues be they paid or unpaid. Although admittedly less mainstream, we also believe in maintaining and disseminating information regarding systemic risk, such as potential economic or currency collapse, NBC events or EMP catastrophes.
We will not discuss or harbor discussion regarding militia activity, the overthrow of any governmental entity or entertain dealing with people who are generally negative and fearful of the future. Our goal is to provide hope, combined with the skills and confidence required to feel comfortable with what the future may hold for us individually, as families and to the greater sense the Asheville area community.
We suggest Charlie Hogwood’s handbook as a guide for assuring success of your family or small group initiatives in the preparedness arena. Another must have book is "Survival Theory" by Jonathan Hollerman. We also highly recommend a great local resource Living Web farms programs, this venue is designed around preparing for a less technical, complex future. Living web has an extensive video library of past seminars, a great public service. \

If you are interested in giving a presentation to our group please email the organizers here at Meetup and we would welcome a review of your skill or presentation.
