Santa Barbara County's award-winning a cappella chorus, Carpe Diem, is back to singing after a 2-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Founded in Carpinteria, CA in 2012 under the direction of Mary Ashford, the Carpe Diem Chorus has won several regional and international competitions, outscoring choruses more than double their size, including groups from all around the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
With a new focus on local community performances, Carpe Diem now rehearses in the Carpinteria Community Church on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm.
