We are focused on doing group rides ranging from touring long distances, to one day rides. Most our rides include fantastic roads and mileage. Some of our rides are destination based also, meaning that it is as much about where we go and what we see along the way, as the miles we log getting there. All of our riders are experienced, and seasoned motorcycle enthusiasts.
It is not uncommon to have two different Cascade rides going on in different areas in a day. We all have schedules and obligations in life, and time may not allow for certain long rides. If there is another Cascade ride that fits your day, Get out and ride with us!
200 to 500 mile rides in a day are not uncommon. Weekend trips and longer are also part of what we do.
Prior to membership of our group there is a quick questionnaire to find out more about your riding interests, experience, type of machine and or machines that you ride etc. We want to get to know you and your riding style.
We are open to all types of bikes and focused more on individuals that have a passion for riding, and take the sport seriously and safely. We still like to have a lot of fun but please consider Cascade Riders as a more advanced riding group of enthusiasts. The goal is for everyone to have a good ride, and feel that they are a part of a great organization. What sets of apart? Lifelong friendships, and common interests of everything on two wheels.
Cascade will not be crossing rides with other Meetup sites. The only exception would be if is a yearly sanctioned run such as "Oyster Run" or "Toy Run" rides of that nature.
If any member would like to post a ride please contact anyone on the leadership team so we can get you updated to "Event Organizer" status. We encourage and need all ideas as well as participation from everyone in Cascade Riders. (We are all riders here!) Do not be worried about being new to "Hosting" rides. Our leadership team is here to help you out with planning and executing a quality ride for all.
All of our rides are well thought out with fuel stops, breaks etc. in mind. Communication is key and required for safety. We will always have a route and safety meeting prior to our rides. As things evolve we will adapt and continue to make positive changes for the group to enhance Cascade and the riding experience of Cascade Riders.
Thanks for your interest and we look forward to getting out on some amazing rides in 2021!
