Technique and Post Processing 86 - Crop to Find the Gem (Before and After)
Find the gem image from a blah photo by cropping to improving the composition, or bringing out what was somewhat lost in clutter or positioning. Crop to Find the Gem is a Post Processing assignment, so you will want to show both the before and the after images so we can see what you started with. Bring up to four before and after sets of images, as jpg files on a flash drive, to view and discuss. Please don't forget: If after accepting you find you cannot attend the Meetup, please UN-RSVP so others on the waiting list can attend. And if you find yourself on the waiting list, be prepared with photos to attend! Thanks for your cooperation.

What we're about

This is a group of amateur photographers who want to share their knowledge and improve their shooting, post-processing, and printing skills. Our activities include photo viewing, self-imposed shooting assignments, and member presentations or demonstrations on photographic topics.
Topics might include things like:

Is RAW better than jpeg?
What does the histogram tell me?
Why shoot to the right?
Where can I get good (bird, cityscape, waterfall) shots?
