What we're about

So you want to learn French? Just strengthen your vocab and French accent? Craving a lil' Le Petit Prince reading? Many of you might have learned French before–maybe because you had to in school, or because you thought it would be fun (really?)–but haven’t spoken in years and feel a bit rusty. This is why we have set up French conversation groups bringing together both native and non-native French speakers, to give you an opportunity to practice on a regular basis, with people from similar levels, but also with native who might be able to help you.

All levels of French (and want-to-be-French) speakers are welcome to join us at this informal meetup group to get back in the swing of the French language! Our meetups will happen at a local coffee shop where no-stress conversations will take place. Vocab games, casual conversation, French scrabble and readings from French literature will be some of our highlights. Join us for the occasional French film night and exploring the world of francophone culture and cuisine!

No stress, casual and ALL LEVELS welcome!

French Course for Beginner Level A1.1 - Lesson 39 of 50

Salut! Let's learn French together. I am not a French teacher, but I believe we could study French together by following concise study materials. All of the materials are prepared by linguistic experts and qualified teachers. So you can say goodbye to language bots and crazy vocabulary apps! You’ll follow a specially prepared plan that will put you on the road to real fluency.

For lesson 39 of 50 we will focus on READING and learn the following objectives:
■ Parler des jours de la semaine
■ Parler de la météo et de ses activités de loisir

**Please don't RSVP for BOTH A1.1 and A1.2. Reach out to us if you are unsure which class you should attend.**

As a French beginner, you’ll learn to introduce yourself and ask and answer simple questions. You’ll also perfect everyday expressions and by the end of A1 (50 lessons), you’ll be able to take part in a simple conversation with francophones.

Every language learner starts as a beginner. Each week we will focus on one of the four core areas: Vocabulary, Skills, Grammar, and Reading. Each class (about 90 minutes) covers a topic and is CEFR level appropriate. These courses are built around topics that you will need in your daily life. *None of the materials will be repeated.*
