We will be visiting the Shrine of Christ's Passion in St. John, Indiana (http://shrineofchristspassion.org/). The shrine consists of 40 bronze life sized figures of Christ's Passion as we walk the Stations of the Cross set up on 30 acres. The stations are narrated by Chicago newsman Bill Curtis. We will start the day at noon, meeting for lunch/brunch at the Olive Cafe (8412 Wicker Ave, St John, IN 46373). We will then head over to walk the stations and visit the gift shop.
We will end the day by attending 5 PM mass at the beautiful St. John the Evangelist church (https://www.stjohnparish.org/) on the grounds of the shrine.
We can ride down to the shrine together by meeting at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (1415 Lies Rd. Carol Stream, IL) at 10 AM. All are welcome (you don't have to be Catholic to join us) and we will even accept "moto-pilgrims" on 4 wheels if a motorcycle is not available.
Hope to see you there.
