What we're about
The intent of this group is to build a network of trusted advisors, focused on sales to technology enterprises in the Austin marketplace. I have participated in a similar organization in another city and it was very successful for over ten years.
The purpose of the meeting is to encourage salespeople to share information and opportunities within the local area. This could be through providing introductions, referrals, or through networking events.
A secondary purpose of the group is to encourage salespeople to be organized, well prepared, and true representatives of their company and brand. Each meeting will therefore begin with salespeople providing updates since the last meeting as well as any needs or requests they may have.
Finally, the group will provide a forum for presentations, ideally 10-15 minutes, provided by guest speakers, to enable us to stay up to date with market and technology developments.
If you are currently focused on sales to enterprises, not consumers, and represent a technology product or service, I encourage you to submit a request. To enable this group to work as designed, we can only allow one representative for a given product type, although some overlap in larger organizations cannot be avoided.
