As a transpersonal/spiritual counselor I love helping people connect to a healthy spiritual path. My classes and groups are relaxed and informal. I listen to what people in the group need or want to know, and weave that into my presentations.

Is this your first experience with Celtic Spirituality?

I helped co-create 3 years of Celtic ceremonies at Naropa University, 1995-97, with Frank Owen MacEowan and friends. I have led many shamanic and Celtic circles since 1994. I presented talks and workshops in Wales and England, 2000, 2006 & 2008.

Do you enjoy mythology, fairy tales, poetry, metaphors, or using your imagination?

I love exploring the imaginal realm through myth, active imagination & shamanic journeys. I have loved Welsh fairy tales all my life, and have studied mythology since my first encounter with Joseph Campbell's work in 1968. But beginners are welcome!

Do you feel or long for an emotional or spiritual connection with Mother Earth?

Yes, I studied Native American spirituality for years because of this longing. Then in 1994, I discovered many similar concepts and symbols in my own Celtic heritage. As storyteller Michael Quirke from Sligo says, "Ireland, as you know, is a Woman."
