The Dark Arts: The Ethics of UX, Profiling, and Behavioral Manipulation

There has been a significant uptick in articles in the past year about the power of UX (and software in general) to manipulate! Let's gather and talk about it - Uber, Facebook, personality quizzes, AI and machine learning, psychographic voter targeting, and "dark patterns". The purpose of this event is to create and develop a shared understanding of the challenges our community faces. The goal is to consult with the community in attendance and share perspectives and information.
