What we're about

Welcome to the Central Park, NYC, Ever Walk ( https://everwalk.com/ ) group founded by endurance athletes Diana Nyad and Bonnie Stoll to help motivate people to move by walking. We walk for fun, fitness, connection to the earth and camaraderie. This group is for you if you are interested in an easy walking pace of about 2-3 miles, depending on who shows up. We walk every Saturday at 10am (sharp) for about 60 minutes. We’ll vary the routes weekly to explore as much of the park as we can. You are welcome to walk faster or longer and perhaps you'll meet others who want to do the same. But as for me - I'm out there for an easy walk for the love of it. The park is glorious, come see for yourself!

The meet up spot is at the East side Central Park entrance at 90th Street and Fifth Avenue. Walk inside the park, cross the road with runners and cyclists, and gather on the bridle path in front of the John Purroy Mitchel statue - which is a gold bust on the stone wall. Dogs are welcome as long as they follow park rules and no one in the group objects.

Look for walk leader, Ann Marie, in an Ever Walk T-shirt. 😁

You can also check out the Ever Walk Nation - Walking Group facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/EverWalkNation/ ) for more information and shenanigans. We keep it fun, fresh and healthy!

So, c'mon, let's walk!
