CPSP Thursday Evening Skate in Central Park
Come and join us. It is a great introduction to skating with a group of skaters. Meet up at the West side of the Maine Monument fountain just inside the Columbus Circle entrance to Central Park. This is a free event but not a skating lesson. We will have Skate Patrol member(s) available to offer tips. It is important that you know how to skate, which means you can slow down on hills and stop. You must be comfortable going up and down hills. We will skate around the Central Park loop. There will be an option for 5.2 miles or 6.1 miles depending on whether you cut across at the 102nd street transverse or do the entire loop to 110th St. In case of RAIN, please note: This event will be cancelled if the Park Drive Roads are wet. Meeting place for skate at 7PM: Maine Monument/@[masked],[masked],19z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x[masked]:0x352e4c[masked] Central Park Sightseeing is now renting skates! $25 for 24 hours. ( If you need skates, please rent from them. Be sure to mention that Central Park Skate Patrol sent you.
