If you love Yoga and the Outdoors, this group is for you! We meet every Wednesday evening from April - October in Central Park from 5:45-7:00pm for 45 minutes of Power Vinyasa Yoga followed by a 5 minute Savasana and an optional mingle until 7:00pm.
This class will be a challenging flow, followed by a relaxing and rejuvenating winding down. Options will be offered for all levels, and the class will be tailored to meet the needs of the yogis in attendance. We practice outside, so be sure to wear sunscreen. The class is weather dependent and Yogis will be notified in case of cancellations as soon as possible.
We will meet every week at 5:45 sharp on the Northwest corner of 59th St and 6th Avenue and walk over together. If you miss us at the corner, this is how to find us: Walk in Central Park at the entrance on East 59th Street and 6th Avenue... follow the path into the park and cross the small street with the walk/don't walk signal. After you cross the small street there will be a grassy area to your left, this is where we meet! Just behind the grassy area is a kids playground, some large rock formations and a brick building. If you turn around and look back toward 6th avenue from the grassy area you will see the 'Essex House' sign up above. Check out our photos to see these landmarks!
Quick Tips - Bring a yoga mat, large towel or blanket to practice on - mats will not be provided. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early - we will always start on time! Suggested donation of $10/class.
