At the start of the year, it is a good time for us seculars to review what Humanism is, what it looks like on paper and in practice. Where many conservative and orthodoxical institutions try to convince us that humanity is broken, Humanism is the rallying cry to make this world a better place together. Humanist advocate and thinker Jason Frye will lead a review of the Humanist worldview and pose some provocative questions as we explore the fact that humanity is not broken, and in fact, and to the contrary of what we often hear: "It's Ok to be human."

Jason Frye is the CEO of the Secular Policy Institute and President of the Humanist Association of San Diego. For the last two decades Jason has been active in local, regional, national, and international humanist advocacy work.
