Let us introduce you to this fun and exciting sport. Our members practice and train in Rhode Island on the Providence River in preparation for races throughout the New England area and beyond.
If you enjoy being out on the water and getting a great workout, you'll love dragon boat racing. You'll meet fun, easy going and like minded people from different backgrounds and all ages.
What you have no experience!! No Problem, we'll teach you everything you need to know. We are open to everyone and their skill levels. We'll make you a bad ass dragon boater, we have the technology...

Century Dragon Boat Pool Practice
Fox Point Boys & Girls Club, 90 Ives Street, Providence, RI, USThis event is for both first timers and seasoned paddlers!
Here is your opportunity to experience dragon boat racing, learn the basics, or fine tune your skills to prepare for the upcoming race season! đYouâll get personal training from our coaches.
We are always looking to expand our team and we want you to join us. Come try it out and experience a new, fun, and competitive team sport! We are a diverse and inclusive group. Everyone is welcome to come paddle with us!
If this is your first event in 2026, you will need to sign this waiver
Pricing: First time paddlers get 2 free sessions, $50 for the season. The season runs from 1/7/26-4/15/26
Please wear workout clothes that you donât mind getting wet. No actual swimming happens (unless you fall into the pool), but water does get splashed. We also recommend you bring something to keep you hydrated. Weâll supply you with everything else. When you arrive, let the front desk know that you are there for Century Dragon Boat and they will direct you to the pool area.

Weâll meet @ Yawgoo Valley @ 11:30am, kick off our snow tubing experience @ 12pm, and snow tube for 90 min.
Following all our frosty hill sliding weâll head over to the Tilted Barn Brewery @ 2pm to eat, drink, be merry, & listen to some live local music.Interested in TUBING?
