Chai Chat LA - Come as you are.
Chai Chat LA is aimed at creating a safe space to discuss, question, and converse about Islam. We would like to create a space for those new to Islam or just interested in learning about the faith; In doing so, Chai Chat LA gives us an opportunity to engage our peers, share both challenges and successes, and create a community of support.
To avoid the formalities or potential stigmas surrounding traditional Islamic centers, Chai Chat LA will be held at The Spot Cafe & Lounge and includes a brief talk by one of our group organizers followed by an informal discussion. Come join us for a productive conversation as well as tea, aka Chai, and snacks.
