What we're about
Adults with ADD/ADHD must deal with unique challenges on a daily (hourly, minute-by-minute) basis that the neurotypical world just does not understand. While we are highly intelligent, creative, and intuitive, adults with ADD/ADHD are often seen as different, disorganized, impulsive, and overly sensitive. The truth is our brains just don't operate the same as other people's brains. We must learn to employ skills and management tools that will help optimize our assets and help us function our best in our day-to-day environments. We have to learn new and different ways of being in relationship with others so that our ADD-ness is not overwhelming to us or to those with whom we are in relationship. Let's come together for mutual support and sharing of coping strategies. Schedule to be announced pending active formation of the group and by consensus of participants.
