What we're about
This group is for anyone interested in learning how to use Emotional Freedom Techniques (E.F.T. "Tapping") to make positive healthy changes in their life and/or to achieve personal goals. There will be tapping workshops and group events that will be open to everyone from beginner level to those who are already using "Tapping".
In E.F.T. participants use their fingertips to gently tap on the same body points (head, hands, upper-body) used successfully in acupuncture for thousands of years. As we tap, we repeat simple phrases/words to help clear what keeps us stuck.
E.F.T. Tapping is an evidence-based, easy to learn self-help tool that you can try on anything that is bothersome to you. When we tap in a supportive group, everyone has the opportunity to feel the positive effects.
Tapping has been used successfully to:
- Decrease stress and overwhelm
- Clear the way to live a more fulfilled life
- Take small and big steps toward goals (and achieve them!)
- Improve performance (e.g. athletics, music, art, presenting)
- Decrease physical discomfort, fears, phobias, and food cravings
