SUP Yoga class hosted by Sarah Kellerman of Sea Soul I Yoga and Bev Cosslett of Charleston Paddles. Sarah is a certified Yoga Instructor at Sea Soul I Yoga and Bev is an ACA certified Level 2 SUP Instructor.
Breathe -> Connect -> Flourish
SeaSoul SUP Yoga aligns breath work, low-impact strength yoga flow, and connecting with water & nature! Build confidence on the water and on your SUP with a 45 minute SUP yoga flow.
Once you step on your board you know that practicing on the water brings a different perspective to yoga and to mindfulness. Try thinking about anything else while balancing your yoga flow on your SUP! :-) This yoga experience is for everyone - newbies to yogis alike. No previous experience with SUP or yoga is required.
SeaSoul SUP Yoga is about having fun, breathing into mindfulness, getting wet, and flourishing. Come join us on the water!
Bring your SUP, paddle and PFD and be ready to get on the water and start class by 8:30AM. Suggest arrival at 8 to 8:15AM to be ready. Plan to be off the water by 9:30AM.
What to wear/bring: clothing you can do yoga in and get wet (synthetic is best), small towel, tether for sunglasses, sun screen, water shoes.
What to expect:
Expect to get wet. Mostly it doesn't happen but when we expand our SUP poses sometimes we fall into the water! And actually that's really the point - Expanding without fear into something new. The water will catch you.
You can go barefoot on the board, water shoes that won't fall off are needed to walk your board to the beach.
The first 5 minutes of class Bev, ACA L2 SUP Instructor, will review safety topics such as how to safely fall off your board.

Morning paddles are a favorite. Lets paddle for whatever reason that inspires you. Paddle whatever craft you want. SUP, Kayak, and Canoes are welcome. Some of us may paddle a fast pace and some may paddle slowly at a leisurely pace. So the group may or may not stay together, but we will get out there regardless. This will make us have a better day.
You are responsible for yourself. If we get split up, you will need to be able to handle your craft alone. If you are on the water, you must be wearing a lifejacket and appropriate clothing for potential submersion.
Have fun, but be safe doing it!
