What we're about

Hey there women devs...it's time to take a break from the male-dominated code convos and enjoy the company of women just like you!

This is a very informal group aimed at women programmers in Charleston. Come have a drink or a bite to eat as we swap code ideas and recent lessons learned in the adventures of progressive software development.

I hope to see you soon!

Software Engineers Who Go Outside! 5k hike around Palmetto Islands County Park

Weather permitting, let's get outside and see some nature! I'll put up more details about where to meet as the date gets closer, but basically just dress comfy and be ready to rejuvenate. I'll be there by 5:30 with some snacks to share, for those of us who work closer. But we won't start walking until 6.

Monthly Happy Hour for CHS Women Devs (at the Workshop)

Hooray for free parking! I hope this makes it easier to join. Let's enjoy great food AND/OR drinks. Cheers

Software Engineers Who Go Outside! Awendaw Passage Hike

Awendaw Passage- Palmetto Trail

Weather permitting, let's try to meet at the Awendaw Passage by 9am. My guess is that it will take about 3-3.5 hrs total to hike. Be sure to dress comfy and pack lunch, snacks, water, and sunscreen. I'll have my big green sign at park entrance, but I'll add more details about park entry when closer to the date. Let me know if you want to me try and organize carpooling. We can also discuss at happy hours downtown at The Workshop.
