June 2018 Labyrinth Walk

Details
It's time to walk another new (to the group) labyrinth. This one is in a beautiful, wooded and shady setting, with walking trails in the woods. Be sure to wear shoes suitable for hiking if you decide to walk the trails - snakes have been spotted! Any kind of shoe, or no shoes, is fine if you're planning to walk the labyrinth only.
Here are a few things to know about this location/event:
• There's ample parking and plenty of seating on benches directly around the labyrinth.
• The walk will be facilitated by me, Chris, a Veriditas-trained Labyrinth Facilitator. It will be held, rain or shine....unless, that is, we're faced with a deluge or tornado warnings! Keep an eye on this space the day before the walk to get the latest updates.
• The walk itself should take up to an hour, with a few minutes of conversation before and after we walk. Timing is dependent on group size and participation level, so plan on about 1 1/2 hours.
• If you're new to labyrinths, here's a great place to start learning: http://www.veriditas.org/New-to-the-Labyrinth
• If you'd like to learn more about your host, here's an article from the October 2016 edition of Natural Awakenings: http://awakeningcharlotte.com/wp-content/issues/201610.pdf#view=Fit
• Each labyrinth walk is different, not only in location or time. I'll add a few new elements and questions here and there, mixing things up a bit, and doing what feels right in the moment, for the people who are present.
• If your plans change and you can't attend after all, please be sure to change your RSVP to "No." We sometimes have a waiting list and this will give those on the waitlist a chance to attend if you cannot.
See you on the path...
Chris
